About The Vale
We are fortunate in our situation at The Vale that we have a delightfully secluded and relaxing garden, where clients can sit and read or enjoy afternoon tea. There are elegant sitting rooms and a spacious conservatory which enjoys views of the well established garden. The bedrooms are comfortable and decorated to a very high standard and clients are encouraged to bring in personal effects to make their rooms more homely.
We offer all our clients 3 meals a day, which are breakfast, lunch and high tea, which are all prepared to a high standard, as well as snacks and refreshments throughout the day. We offer a variety of dishes to choose from our menu each day for each meal. The Vale has a seasonal menu, which works on a 4 weekly cycle. All our food is freshly brought in, homemade and nutritionally balanced, which we feel is very important. Meals can be taken in the dining room, Conservatory or in the client's own room depending on where they would like to eat. Our menu's may vary slightly depending on the client's needs/likes. Please feel free to take a look at our Summer Menu.
Medical services such as the doctor, community nurses and dentist visit when needed. We also have a visiting hairdresser, chiropodist and optician.
We have an excellent team of staff who are devoted to their work and are committed to ensuring that each client has the best possible care. The staff regularly undertakes training in food hygiene, manual handling, first aid, incontinence care and administration of medication. We understand the right of privacy and clients are treated in a dignified and respectful manner. Clients are encouraged to lead as full a life as possible so that their highest potential is achieved and individually maintained whilst living and participating in a caring environment.
